Entry gaming PC build (£650-£700 budget)

Hey guys,



I'm looking to build a new gaming PC. I'd also love to play most games that are out now on high/max settings, and new games on decent mid-high settings for the next few years. I would use it as a workstation but for nothing much heavier than Excel.

Last time I researched a PC build was about 13 years ago, so I'm just getting to grips with all the terminology again.

For my build, I've slightly customized the PC Part Picker entry level rig so it pretty much tops out my budget with a little wiggle room:

GTX 1650 SUPER (waiting for stock)
Gigabyte B450M H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard

What resolution? If it's anything beyond 1080p then your goal is not realistic, unfortunately.

1080p is fine.

For that budget I would say Intel is the better option at the minute just like this advises https://www.overclockers.co.uk/forums/posts/34310412

because you have extra to spend go for better gpu that is in stock you could also add a hdd.
