Error when overclocking (showing 5ghz instead of 4.2ghz)

Hi so I have a i5 4690k and a Z97 Gaming 5 motherboard.

I haven't overclocked this PC before even though I've had it for 2 years now but decided to try now.

I went into the BIOS and changed the ring bus to 3.5ghz.

Changed the core multiplier to x42 and core voltage to 1.2v.

Now as you can see task manager is showing the speed at 5hz but CPUZ showing 4.2ghz.

I think it might be an error because it's happened to a lot of people. In other software it displays the correct value.

Stable with 4.5ghz @1.25v now anyway!
