Im no expert on Ford Escorts or how solid they are, but that car had probably been ragged to within an inch of its life on more than one occasion.....even though the owner may take pride in it....I would probably look for something else, although £875 for an XR3i isnt too bad. Thats my "2 cents" anyway.

I'd head for somewhere like Interford or the XR Owners club if you have your heart set on a 3i. That one looks as if its been chavved...try and find an enthusiast owned car if thats what you want...
