Hi guys,

Anyone on here speak estonian?

What does OY mean?

Eg, Registro Italiano Navale Finland Oy RINA

My translation is... Italian Registry of Shipping, RINA of Finland.

Sounds right doesnt it? :confused:

Ah, good stuff. The strange thing is, that i cannot find it in any online estonian dictionary!

Are we sure? I have seen things entries like Siemens OY. Could it be like Ltd (UK) or BV (Netherlands)?

Right, wiki gave me the answer. It is the Finish version of a Ltd company. :rolleyes:

lol, loads of Finish companies in a estonian database! :rolleyes:

Mind you, i suspect the ships spend half their time there!
