Ethnicity: Terran

Hello

Suppose in theory, in an application form, a person was to write Terran in the Ethnicity box would it be valid?

Don't get me wrong, i'm not going out filling my application forms with Terran in the Ethnicity box. But seeing as we're all humans, writing Terran shouldn't be a problem should it?

Those that are confused, the word Terran describes humans who are from planet Earth. Eventually when we meet extra terristial life, we're going to have to call our self's Terran's!

I applied twice for basically the same job, and on one form I chose not to disclose my ethnicity, whereas on the other I did, never heard back the first time and got the job the second time :rolleyes:

....and I'm white.

Terran could count as a race but not really an ethnicity.
