Has anyone used the above? The local tyre place near me want £340 for 4 Dunlop sp7000 and etyres want £335 for 4 Toyo proxie T1-R.

Can't find any info out on the Dunlop but a few people have said the Toyo's are quite good.

Just want to know if the company is trustworthy or not? I would use mytyres but local place are stubborn and unless you bought from them they won't touch it.

Ive never used etyres.co.uk I have just bought some tyres from mytyres though.
If you go through the process of ordering before you have to enter you card or pay for the tyres you get an option of choosing a place near you that will fit them for you(they will even be delivered there if you choose). It also gives you the price they will charge for the fitment, valve, balancing and getting rid of the old tyre for you.

Would be worth doing this just to see if your local place is on there or for any other places nearby.

The only downside i've found with them is that its 7 days for delivery.

The closest place that they recommend is Leicester itself and I live about 20 minutes away. Yes I'm that lazt. Plus mytyres don't seem to have an awful lot for me

Ive used etyres twice now, and have been spot on everytime! Clear communication and they'll even come to your place of work to fit them.

Yes franchised, but cheaper than a local garage and you dont have to queue for 2 hours to get them fitted *cough* micheldever *cough*. They came to my home, fitted two T1Rs (great tyres btw, not Eagle F1s but good nevertheless) to the back of the car, balanced them & my two fronts at £5 each for the front and I had no issues at all!

I used eTyres to get a pair of replacements and they were excellent. Got phone calls when they promised to call me and they arrived on time and did a great job, quickly and efficiently.

Exactly my experience. Fast and efficient service as well as a great price. I was very impressed with their service.

ring around local companies, my local tyre fitter was cheaper than all online merchants for t1-r's

Gonna give them a ring next week then. Can't do it yet as I may be going to Newcastle for a few days. There aren't many cheap tyre places round here anymore, the best one closed up a few years ago and was replaced by people who couldn't care less

They want £125.90 each for Toyo Proxes T1-R fitted in the size I need, whereas on mytyres.co.uk they are just over £90. If I allow £10 each for fitting that makes etyres.co.uk about 25% more expensive in this instance... in short, remember to shop around. I'm sure on other tyres they'd be cheaper.
