Everytime i save the bios i get a 'no input signal'

e.g. i cant set the date, if i do and save changes then as soon as it reboots i get the 'no input signal' i then have to clear the cmos

amd x4 9500
some motherboard
2gb ram

it also says 'cmos checksum bad'
can anybody help please to get past this

Hi ,

Does not sound good. Usually means the Bios is corrupt somehow. Is this a new or second hand board. ?

If second hand this can happen when the bios battery needs replacing.
