EVGA 8800GT - did anyones ship today ?

Yes me too very dissapointed, looks like they had the ETA dates for BFG and eVGA the wrong way round.

I know, i feel the same. Just means i will lose some re-sell value now unless i flog it in a few months after the 9800 comes out. Gutted to say the least.

Nvidia seriously underestimated the demand for this card, reminds me of the time when ati did the same thing.

Heh yeah, The card is good so I think its worth the wait for the eVGA, plus OC havent taken my money for it yet so im not really at any loss.

They took my money straight away and if they get them next friday the least they can do is ensure we get them on the saturday but some how I doubt it, cant help feeling ripped off, I really wanted one this week, a bit naughty putting a 30-10-07 ETA date.

Feeling exactly the same. Especially bad as the BFG's shipped on the 30/10.

Yes m8, looks like someone at OC got the dates for BFG and eVGA round the wrong way, after fulfilling the BFG pre orders they should have offered the remaing BFG units to the first of the eVGA pre orderers.

I have gone right off evga after hearing you must register within one month or you get a 1 year guarantee there's nothing in the box that says this now i am stuck with 1 year warranty.You can't even register on their website either you select UK and it still asks for a USA state as a required field.
Bfg in future for me.
