evga gtx 1080ti sc2 back plate.

Hi

I finaly found a waterblock for my gpu. Does anyone know if I need to buy a back plate or can I just not replace the existing one after I install the block.

You can get away without one but I’d want one for looks.

The backplate on my GTX 1080 SC Gaming was compatible with the EK block I use for it. Same with the reference GTX 1080.

It'll probably be compatible, though might need different screws.
