Was the motherboard screwed in. Maybe there was no earth to the mobo and somehow the cards earthing point, if it needs one, took the load. Especially if the card wasn't seated properly so some of the pins weren't connected. Looking frame by frame around 14 seconds in, there does appear to be a flash at the same time on the case, unless that was a reflection.
