I extened the warranty on my evga 980 ti to 5 years when I bought it so it still has some left.
Can I sell it to someone else and transfer the warranty to them?
Would I have to send them the original invoice?
If they had to do an RMA would I have to sort it out for them? I'd like to avoid doing this if possible.
Could they just register for a guest warranty?

Has anyone bought a second hand evga card before and successfully used the remaining warranty?

Extended warranties do not transfer. Only the original warranty that the card comes with.
EVGA offers optional programs to Original Purchasers with a valid proof of purchase from an Authorized Reseller including the EVGA Extended Warranty Program, the EVGA Advanced RMA Program, and the EVGA Step-up Program. Please note that if an EVGA Extended Warranty and/or EVGA Advanced RMA (EAR) is purchased on a Product, it/they will not transfer to a second owner.

So you'd have to sort the RMA if there was ever a need.

I registered mine and it told me how many days warranty was left on it. Second-hand warranty begins from manufacturing date, by the way. So it's doubtful there will any be second-hand warranty remaining on that 980Ti.
