EX58-UD5 and HDD/SSD performance?

Just changed over to this board from a Asus P5Q-E and performance from my SSD drive seems worse, takes longer to load windows.

Using the onboard intel controller, why is the performance now worse? All chipset drivers have been updated.

Using Samsung PB22-J, although what drive i'm using shouldn't matter.

Have you do a fresh install of windows since you changed ure mobo?

Nope, is it really necessary to re-install windows to get performance back to normal?

its a complety diff platform so yes a reinstall is best

vista only took about 17 min last time i did it get finger out

Yeah but that doesnt include the time installing all your software again.
