Hi,

Am hoping that somebody might be able to offer me some assistance. I've just built a new machine based on the OC EX58-UD5 4.00Ghz bundle, and 4x Seagate 7200.12 1TB drives.

I'm using RAID for the first time and configured the drives in the BIOS as a RAID 10 using the ich10r controller.

When I installed windows 7, I didnt have to load any drivers, Windows saw the array and all looked fine. After install I installed the latest (v8.9) Intel Matrix Manager.

What I'm finding now is that after power down, when I next boot the machine there is about a 50% chance that the RAID array reports as degraded. I then mark the drive as normal, it rebuilds, and the system is stable as long as it remains on. But after a few reboots the RAID array will typically report the failure of a different drive. As it is different drives being reported each time, I dont think there is likley to be anything wrong with the drivers - unless they are all faulty.

I've no idea of what to try next really - I really need a 2TB RAID 10 array for performance and reliability.

Please help if you have any ideas on what I might try

Thank you!!!
