I was wondering if anyone knew of a good way to get rid of some exam stress. I'm feeling extremely stressed at the moment, so much that I cannot do any work at all. I honestly don't think I'm going to be able to do my exams and I don't know what to do about it. I got 75% in my 2nd year at university and had no problems like this at all but this year I just don't seem to be able to do any work at all, the work's making me feel claustrophobic.
I've got my first exam in 2 days so I don't know what to do. I've emailed my tutor with my worries as I have just had to come back home from the library because I thought I was going to pass out.

If anyone's got any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Get a relaxation CD, I have bought a few of Glen Harold ones COMPETITOR and have found them great (if you spare the time to relax and listen) :)

Sport... give your brain something else to think about for a little while each day and also let your body have a bit of a work out. Did wonders for me.

I like to take a good 30min walk (outside) when exam revision is on ie. NOW!

Got Computation Theory tomorrow morning, so it'll be a few walks tonight I think :)

A bit of exercise as suggested might help, you may also find it useful to remember that exams are not the "be all and end all" of life. They can be important certainly but life goes on whatever your results are, do what you can to pass then forget about them until the results come in, no point worrying about what you can't change. Oh and good luck of course. :)

Try having a full time 40 + hour week job, bills, Girlfriend to attend to, child to attend to, long commute with arse holes on the road, a full time Degree with said exams (and not enough time to do the course work), moving home, home repairs and not enough money, 3 broken computers that need fixing, housework that needs doing.

Then you will know a little about stress. I have some exams in 2 weeks time and tbh I couldn't give a flying **** its only an exam, you either know it or you don't and if you don't wtf have you been doing these last few months?

If it sounds like I have no sympathy, its because I don't.

This is the worlds smallest violin and its playing just for you guys:

suck it up. you do, what, a 20 hour week with a few occasional exams.

what possible use will you be to an employer if this stresses you out beyond functioning?

I generally use excersie (either the gym or play squash). However, I don't normally get massively stressed over exams.
