Excercising When Ill

Depends on the severity of the illness. If its a cold, so long as its not on my chest, I'll carry on running but will rachet down the intensity. If its something that will make me take a day off work then I won't train.
 
as quite a few have said, it really depends on how you are feeling, but if you feel you have the energy then go for it.

I have trained with a cough, cold, headaches etc without issue, and since starting at the gym ( 1 year ago) i have recovered from being ill much quicker then i used to.

I would put this down to not slacking on my diet even when full of cold and being generally healthier.

As long as your eating ok still, and feel like you have the energy then go for it.

Most of the time people say you need the energy to recover, you can guarantee that most of those people arnt eating enough! if your sticking to your diet your body should have more then enough energy to train and recover.

To sum it up, if your feeling the urge then go for it, if your not then dont.
