Hi,

Getting fed up with buying one and it lasting for not very long. Any recommendations for decent build quality makes and rough costs / prices. I like to do around 40 mins per day. I had one many years ago, it rattled a bit and was noisey and hardly high tech even for its day but it lasted for years and years. May get a cheaper second hand one, at least I won't have to send it back to Argos 3 times before all the correct parts arrive. :)

Get a real bike. More fulfilling, better quality exercise, you wont get bored within 30 seconds, and are more likely to be doing it with another 2 weeks. Its harder work, but then I cant think of anything more futile and boring as excersing at home on a bike.

Seriously static bikes are for people who cant be bothered but think they should be doing something, entirely the reason they get bored with 1 week.

Go to a second hand place and get an ex-gym one. Theres one of these places in nottingham i remember seeing. They will have done a lot of miles but probably still better than the cheap crap you guy in argos etc

Lol at the pic above, made me grin. :D Yeah, soz - wrong thread section. Just fed up with poor quality, have bought and got through 3 bikes in the last few years.

Thanx.
