Minor social media rumour that "senior LibDems are to meet with Theresa May".

Not having it myself, but I guess we'll see.

May should tell them to do one they'll just be the enemy within trying to water down Brexit and keep us half in. Farron's resignation is making sense now. The fact is in less than two years we're out of the EU whether we get a deal or not so she doesn't need them.

They may have been burned before but the lineup this time is so poor for the cons, that LD may end up absorbing seats due to tory incompetence. With the current situation so up in the air, i would not say that anything is definite.

Last time the LD joined with the Tories it cost them 49 seats, they would be stupid to consider it again.

Country before party. It would be a very bold move after the damage it did for the party the last time but this was because they let the conservatives claim responsibility for all the good things from the government (tax free allowance) and then be blamed for all the bad (tuition fees, no vote change).

Well it can't harm them any further. After all they went for the 48% remain lot and even they didn't vote for them. May as well take power while they can.

Depends a bit - Vince Cable is largely against Brexit but a bit more pragmatic about trying to get the most out of it rather than just a binary for or against position while others like Farron were pretty much diametrically opposed to it.

Lib Dems are dead currently, I would rather they were in government if we have to have the Conservatives to keep them in check as much as possible.

Except the Tories don't need them, like at all.

I'd be hilarious if they sacrificed themselves on the Tory Pyre again, we all know where the blame for Soft Brexit will go.

I'd be surprised if the deal was any more formal then we will vote for your queens speech in exchange for single market membership, after that, you are on your own. The conservatives can say the lib dems destroyed hard brexit and likewise the lib dems can say we saved you from hard brexit and a bad DUP deal.

Theresa May is slammed for making 'private visit' to devastation at Grenfell Tower - while Corbyn is seen hugging survivors just an hour later

I don't want to make a political thing about that situation. But the media has really turned against her. I wouldn't have even imagined the DM publishing a news story attacking her and making him appear better.

We have already voted on this, we voted no why do you think it will be any different now?

AV wasnt PR, but good show.

No, she's slammed for spending 20 minutes in a "quick get-in-get-out dont speak with residents" photo-op, residents said she was "****" to Corbyn who spent much more time with them (Ie Infinitely more than her 0).

Why do you think she won't do these things? I'll tell you why, because people with views like you would happily drop their pants, do a poo and throw it in her face for no reason other than her being a Conservative.
