Experian Report Query

Hi,

On my Experian credit report, basically all that's listed is my bank current account and my bank auto-issued credit card which I have never used, that's it.

There is no mention of my previous 5 years of (perfect) phone contract payments, student loan, various direct debit history etc.

My address and personal details are definitely correct, matching addresses used on contracts (same address for > 10 years). Should there not be more info shown on the report :confused:

I have to give the report to a company, so just want to know if there should be more on there, and if it will look negative if only my bank/credit is listed.

Remember it's a CREDIT report, any direct debits not paying for credit won't be listed and a lot of companies only list bad information, my loan with HSBC for example isn't listed as I've never missed a payment, when I queried this they said they'd only register information with a credit reference agency if I defaulted on it.

Student loan and direct debit details wont be on there, the mobile phone contracts should be though.

Ok thanks guys. Guess it isnt a huge problem if the phone contracts arnt listed, not like im hiding any bad history.

but you are losing good history which will work against you

Regarding the topic, some things get logged and some don't. I did mine recently too and my Next card is listed (it's technically not a card, just something I got automatically when buying online that gives me £2k or something) that I never used, but two of my bank accounts or my current mobile contract aren't listed. I'm not sure how/who decides what is and isn't on your file...

Maybe try Callcredit or Equifax instead? I believe that the information held across the 3 agencies isnt always the same.
