Explain the advantages of voltage tweak on the ATI 5770.

What are the advantages over the ATI5770 what has voltage tweak. Is it worth the extra £5?
If one of the advantages is more overclocking..how much are you talking about?
 
You would most likely get a lot more mhz out of it. The 4890s with voltage regulators could hit 1ghz, so I'd think with the voltage tweak on a 5770 you'd be hitting 4890power when the 5770 at stock slots in between the 4870 and 4890. For an extra fiver, it's a good investment
 
If you're looking at the Asus, get it for the longer warranty over voltage tweak.

It's just a marketing gimmick by Asus.

Any brand 5850 can use "voltage tweak" via other means (such as rivatuner).

It's worth the extra warranty, it's not worth the voltage tweak though as it's a standard "feature" as such.
 
So i did end up buying a 5770 i should just go for the cheapest 5770? ( which i think is the sapphire? )
