I am just afetr any thoughts on extnded warrantys on TV's.
I had a Toshiba 46ZF LCD sent as an insurance replacement 6 months ago and within 4 months is developed a fault that Toshiba could not fix. I had that replaced under warranty from the e-tailer and got a SONY 52W4000.
This obviously just comes with the 1 year warranty, im looking for anyone that has extended it to 5 years on any electrial item and had good service, i dont really want to wallop out a fortune but im worried of anything happening to it after 1 year as the cost of a replacment would be silly.
The prices seem to vary massively from different companies.
