Extending a conservatory

Looking at buying a house which already has a conservatory.
For our needs, it must be bigger.

How easy is it to extend a conservatory?
Would it be easier to knock down and rebuild?

those prefabricated ones ? rebuilt most probably, and you'll need planning permission.

Extension without planning only apply for the 1st extension under a certain size 50 cubic meter sq for semi and 75 cubic meter sq for detached.
