External Cameras with Synology

There has been quite a few break in's in my area recently, so looking to get a few camera's to watch entry points in the house. Looking to sync up with a second Synology unit I have, so PoE would be preferable.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Got no complaints with my hikvision cameras - although they are running from a dedicated hikvision NVR as my synology isn't really powerful enough (DS212j)

we use axis dome cameras (M and P series) at work across our sites with synology. Synology surv stn supports a long list of camera make/models and is very easy to set up. It'll scan the local network for cameras, if they are same make/model can batch add them along with your desired settings. takes mins to get up and running
