Originally looked at the Synology but also looking at the WD My Cloud drives. I am looking for a drive where I can work on files when at the office, and then those files sync to another (identical) drive at home.

    What's my best option?

Surely something like OneDrive or Dropbox. Cut out the physical box

I used to use Dropbox but I need something that's instant access across the network when I'm at work. I often edit a 500MB+ file on one computer, then need to open it on another computer and Dropbox takes too long to sync from computer A to Dropbox, then from Dropbox to Computer B.

At present we have a Dell server that holds all files, but it would be handy being able to have the files sync to home, and Dropbox won't work on Windows Server.
