Hi,

I've got an external USB hard drive (powered) which when plugged into USB stops the computer from sleeping - and if I manually put the computer to sleep then it wakes immediately.

I've got another USB drive (USB powered) which doesn't exhibit this problem. If I disable USB waking in the BIOS, then no issue.

In the windows device settings for the hard drive, there's no option to uncheck 'allow device to wake computer'.

Also - I've got a Windows 8.1 and Win 10 builds on seperate partitions - both have the exact same issue.

Any ideas?

Done some further testing and it seems to only be an issue with the drive plugged into as USB3 port. However it is still an issue on a different computer so must be a drive issue?
