Eye surgery in Turkey

A while ago someone posted about having their laser eye surgery done in Turkey. Does anyone have first hand experience of this, specifically in abroad?

As withg anything, there are good and bad practitioners everywhere.

I'd say stay in the UK and go to a good practitioner.
