Need one as cheap as possible.

Found this one for £70.

I agree, just need a cheapo one for a year or so untill a new bathroom is fitted.

Not been in the house that long and the old toilet is in a right state, seriously crusty so just need something for a short while to ensure the **** monster from Dogma doesnt make an appearence.

Surely a toilet is a toilet. If you want a cheap one to get you by for a while just go out and get one.

Anyway, how's things? Wife and nipper ok?

Get one of those french toilets ---- the ones where there is a hole in the floor and some handles to grab on too

Have fun fitting it...

We got a new one for upstairs and tried to fit it yesterday, which led to great fun and games.

Seriously, go to your local tip, there is loads of bathroom fixtures etc at mine

There was a 100% working and spotless £500 toilet at my tip when the bathroom was being done up, and loads of other ones.

it's lucky we have a downstairs loo as well - the upstairs one is still out of use (it's got a cistern on the back of the loo and one of the seals is playing up - we keep getting a drip of clean water from the cistern).

Never try and do any plumbing when you don't have plenty of time to go and get spares if needed
