F1 2023 Car (livery) launches

I like this one, I think it looks good.

The alternative to the halo is the stupid windscreen they have in Indycar. If F1 had that, I actually wouldn't watch it any more. It's awful.
The aeroscreen looks a bit crap because it was added to the car after it was initially designed. I’d imagine a car designed with it in mind would be better integrated and would look much better.

Alfa looks best. Shame too many red cars really.

Can't tell with the Williams. The back lighting is too strong to know what it really looks like.
Get the sense it's going to be a bit meh in real lighting.

I didn't even bother looking at rbr one. I assume it's same? I don't really like it myself. Never have

That floor edge is ….. interesting. Hopefully we get a video from Kyle soon to explain how it’s supposed to work.

They were suffering with a lack of rear downforce last season, so I'm guessing it's aimed at improving that - much more the Ferrari concept than the Red Bull early outwash that most of the midfield ended up copying last season.

A better picture of the Williams.

I'm sorry, but when they said one of the sponsors is Stephens Ink, this is the first thing I thought of. https://londonist.com/london/museums-and-galleries/stephens-ink-museum-finchley

F1 has become a bit sad and pathetic now pre-season.
You used to actually get next gen cars on launch - that died out
You used to then actually get next gen cars in testing - thats now died out
Now you only get to see the actual new car at the first race!

Pretty much ruined any pre-season F1 for me.

Unfortunately really that's not really surprising with teams wishing to protect their aerodynamic designs from being copied. Goes with the sport these days.

The Williams looks very corporate IT. Cisco, Dell, HP. Like it was agreed on by a group of old men.

It's so boring, I'm not surprised they've got barely any sponsorship.

So the alpha Romeo was just a show car, they are auctioning it off. They say it depicts the true car but if that was true wouldn't some of the bits be useable on the actual car?

I suppose that depends on what it was made out of. It might be that most of it is too heavy to race.
