F1 Testing today

Afternoon

I know there's a photography thread about this but I thought you motors people will be interested aswell.

Went to Silverstone today to watch the F1 testing and was great, the volume of sound these cars eject is immense and the speed was amazing too, weather wasn't too bad and were a lot of teams there too which was cool.

Was a good day out and may try to go to the one later on this year when it'll hopefully be warmer!

I was there today, it was good. First time ive seen a F1 car being driven round a track and the noise was amazing.

Yeah my manager was at Silverstone today supposedly having a new phone system for our company demonstrated to him.

But when he called me I could quite clearly hear the F1 cars racing around the track probably no more than 10-20 meters away from him :rolleyes:

F1 test sessions are free entry but you only get restricted access to areas on the outside of the track & no entry to the inner area

Was there today as well, more piccies will appear in the photo forum
