Both are 2004

Which would you go for? I really cant decide!

What's the service history, when is a big bill due has the 92k just had cam belt etc where the 72k you'll have to pay for , can you get either down on price??? I wouldn't worry if it wad chipped or not

plenty of more out there its a common enough car if you dont fancy the travel.

a generic remap will set you back £250 quid from a reputable company.

I take it both are good condition and similar ages?

My friend had his chipped to 170bhp by a professional company, few months later his clutch went then not so long after the turbo went as well. He wasn't driving it like he stole it either when it went. The guy told him at the time it was safer to go for around 150-160bhp as he had heard a few vrs took to 170 or above with standard parts had things fail within a year.

Just a warning as I am sure many of them have worked fine at 170 and above as well. As above though if the yellow one has already had the cam belt done I'd go for that one.

600 mile round trip is a long way to go for such a car i would have thought. What if it is a pile of rubbish? You will have wasted a day ( or two) and loads of money to get there.

I could understand if it was a rare classic or a limited edition type car but a 2004 Fabia VRS? no thanks.

Both are similar ages, from what i gather the main service is at 60k with a new belt. Both have been done but will confirm before parting with cash.

I cant find many and need something soon, my s2000 is hitting my pocket hard at 30mpg on the new commute.

Im keeping the s2k btw

Im worried the yellow will be faded, im guessing both will not be majorly desirable as one is yellow and one is chipped.

And the one in scotland is so damn far, i would not be happy if not as described!

Ive got both down by 400, these cars are not particilarly cheap!

I'd take the yellow one , if the black one hasn't been chipped using a map that delivers the torque smoothly the clutch will be gone or on its way. plus the massively shorter journey to collect.

I'd take neither and instead would buy a Seat Toledo or something with the same engine for less money. Better car as well.

The Fabia is hilariously over-rated.

Angel tuning? Not very knowledgable about individual companies chip quality

The yellow one has nicer seats

Cracking car, the VRS. Ignore Fox - haters gonna hate.

Not quite sure why you're looking at such long trips to look at these cars, though. Fabia VRS's aren't that uncommon.

If you can put up with the Yellow, you're likely to be better to buy Yellow. Yellow VRS's command lower prices than the other colour choices.
