Face Recognition site - who do you look like

This site has a face recognition feature that tries (I put tries lightly....LOL) to match your face with someone famous.

My cousins showed me it today which we had a few laughs over comparing various family members.

Apparently I look most like Ricky Martin but the second match was Drew Barrymore :(:(

Try it, it's fun in a nothing better to do Sunday kind of way ;)
 
i did this once when it was a beta long ago... one of the people it matched me to was CONDALEEZA RICE!!!

Incase you didn't know I'm a white male not a black female!!! Terrbile site...

Yes, it said I looked like a negro too. It's not very good if it can't distinguish between caucasians and negros.
 
It is probably using structural features and texture not colour. Images are probably just converted to greyscale and reduced in dimensionality with PCA and they use some kind of linear matching system like NN.
 
It seems to me that it matches facial expressions more than anything else. If all the photos were passport style mugshots it might work better.
 
If this is the same one I've used before then it said I looked like Michelle Rodriguez. :(

yeh whenever I see people post results it's always people who have their face at the same angle to the camera and that's about it.

Gave me britney spears first time I did it..

She's not so bad :) - Watched "The Breed" yesterday and she looked mighty fine in it :p

The data for the recognition will be normalised so it is mapping changes of colour over the face rather than the colour itself.
 
Errr I uploaded an old photo from prom, and it recognised a bit of the wall in my back garden as a face, but not mine or my boyfriend's :confused:

I done two different images and Chester Bennington came up at around 65% on both but Hrithik Roshan was the closest match at 71%...
 
magic johnson is probably the closest it gave me, save the colour.

heather locklear, prince william, snoop dog and some random others..
