How do you set gmail to push?

I just ticked the 'notify of emails in status bar' in menu, settings. I suppose it's set to push automatically as having checked my Gmail app, there's no option to change how it notifies you apart from whether or not you want a status bar notification.

Whether or not this is different for the Android Gmail app, I don't know.

I'm with this guy. You don't bother having a facebook or news app etc.. on your PC and there is no need on you phone. Visiting the website can offer a richer experience.

Still if people want the app then i don't see any harm.

I try using my browser for Facebook - but usually the most recent updates are hours old. Anyone else have this problem?

No, it doesn't send you a letter when you have a text message... It simply pops up a notification on your phone when the postman gets here. This Arduino stuff looks amazing!

Not sure what you are talking about here, as when i visit facebook it is automatically the mobile site which is the same res as the app.

you must be viewing the normal site.
