Factory reset cant get past google sync page...help pls.

My son has managed to factory reset my daughters phone, which is a cheapy Alcatel pop 4.

On setting it up it connects to the internet but will not let me pass the google account set up.

"This device was reset. To continue, sign in with a Google Account that was previously synced on this device."

Well I have....MULTIPLE times...but it will not move forward.

I have now been at this for a week and am now stubbornly asking for help.

So phone Gurus please set me on the path to a working phone...

Have you tried the steps in this video?

I have the tool that works on Samsung phones (well Note 4 anyway) that I've used successfully in a test scenario.

@35seconds he presses the @ button to get into another settings page, this phone doesnt do that. Thanks for trying to help though.

The fact you can get that far suggests that the option is likely to be in there somewhere. Can you go into the symbols settings in the keyboard and try the @ key there?
