As you will know, today is the 6th anniversary since Zoltan sadly passed away. I had only been on the forums a couple of months but such a from the heart account of his battle against cancer certainly gained my admiration and no doubt that of many others.

A charity that is close to Zoltan and his family is the Teenage Cancer Trust which does such an amazing job helping those affected.

I contacted Zoltan's Dad last week who, after discussion with his family, kindly rubber stamped a charity thread for OcUK so this thread has an official Zoltan's Dad approved sticker. :)

I am auctioning a Royal Air Force leather jacket that I have worn about a dozen times tops and all proceeds will go to the nominated charity. I will cover all postage and packing for the winning bid.

The plan is to let this run for seven days so a lot of members can look and, if they wish, bid.

With this jacket you will be able to ....

* Pull PhD educated female civilian instructors.
* Display amazing skills in beach volleyball.
* Buzz the tower, even if the pattern is full.
* Negative G pushover with Mig 28s.
* Sing Great Balls Of Fire note perfect.

The item. Size is XL.

I will also throw in a pair of genuine Ray Ban aviators.

A charity that does so much to help those affected by cancer will benefit so the cause is a good one and that is an understatement.

So, who will start the bidding ?

If you would like to make a personal donation you can here: https://www.teenagecancertrust.org/get-involved/make-a-donation/instant-donate/

* Highest bid is currently Gilly with 160 Pounds. *

I'm not going to bid, man, because the shipping would cost you more than the value of the goods but I'll make a donation to the mentioned charity. I've seen the commemoration thread come up each year (and today) and it's heart-breaking.

Good luck with your auction :)
