One question - has it been detoxified after you've worn it?

No need mate. I don't support Sunderland. ;)

Very generous bids and donations folks. Thank you.

At jlss, bidding is just here. The jacket isn't being auctioned elsewhere.

well after tom cruise went mad and joined scientology the US government decided it was best to play down the story of him being coolest man on earth to make sure the masses didn't follow. It was a matter of national security.

you might find stuff about him being a midget which is also rubbish

I read Zoltan's Thread and it hit me that I've never really given to charity in a considerable way myself. It's easy for me to walk past homeless, charity collectors etc and just ignore them completely. I don't believe in karma, supernatural, an afterlife, or a god of any kind but I believe in science. I can walk back tonight and spend time with the missus, watch a film and be happy, because in comparison to him; I know I'm one lucky kid. If my money can help anyone in Zoltan's position, give them extra minutes/hours/days with their family for closure, it leaves me with a feeling that they deserve my money more than I do.

Thanks for arranging this everyone and as much as I'd look like Tom Cruise in that RAF jacket, I think it'd be a bit big for me. The aviators on the other hand? I declare a separate auction! ;)

It really puts things into perspective, we go about our lives moaning about this and that and yet there are people like Zoltan who show us just how much spirit and bravery people can show in adversity.

It humbles us.

My thoughts go out to his family and as a Parent myself I cannot comprehend the loss that they have suffered, All I can do is make a donation (which I posted earlier) and my wife has donated £10 to add to mine and my brother has pledged to match our joint donation when he returns from the US.

Rest In Peace Zoltan, I wish I had known you.
