Fans for Megahalems

What type of fan do you suggest I buy for the Megahalems? Im gonna fit two but which are the best? If OverclockersUK had the Noctua NH-D14 I would have bought one by now!

I'm not worried about them being quiet...indeed I get a thrill from hearing the fans kickup under load. I need cheap and effective..

+1 for apache, i'm using 2 of them with yy megahalems an they keeps my 920@4ghz under prime at ~60°c, it would be crazy to use something cheap with megahalems, even one fan would be enough i think.

Thats serious cooling....... Have you got HT enabled?
i know mine runs about 10 degrees cooler with that off. Otherwise Im jealous!

I'm using the fan from my fenrir on my megahlem, I thought that would be best? Reckon I could temps down a notch with these? I hit 75 after hours of prime - on 4.2 mind

Yeh i'v got Turbo on and HT

i think that it might help you to get your temps down, i also use Artic Silver 5 thermal compound. Also yours is on 4.2 so that might be an issue for apaches, cause they'r max RPM is only 1400. I wouldn't worry too much about 75c, if you'r just gaming so you wont reach that temp (i think so).
