Further to my Blind spot thread, - http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17848500 - would it not be a good idea to have some form of sticky for such posts? - Alas, my post is dropping down the board already so, I imagine people will miss it. I was quite surprised how informative people found it! :)

I'm sure many others here have info to offer which - hopefully - could help out there on the roads.

a lot of incidents are caused by ignorance, myself, I would certainly benefit from some tips from Bikers as I don't ride, as I'm sure, others don't drive articulated trucks!

I'd be grateful if this is given some consideration, imo promoting safety by providing information to others is surely a good thing for this much maligned Motors forum. :)

Thanks. :)

I'm not looking to "pimp my own thread" here guys - honest! :o

A bikers one would be good but I cant see it being very constructive from both sides of the fence, apart from the advert "look, and Look again for bikers" theres not much people can do as thats the biggest problem :/ other bikers will come on with move over etc when in traffic but then were getting onto bossing people about, which never goes down well, with bikers a lot of it is being courteous towards bikers thats about it, which a lot of people dont agree with.

We generally only have three stickies per forum (though sometimes additional temporary ones - like charity threads - are allowed) and we already have three.

I don't mind adding it into the Motors info sticky that we already have, if deemed worthwhile.

No-one reads stickies though.

No-one reads stickies though.

At least it's there though, so for the few that do, they'll be informed. Plus it means that someone can easily refer to it if required, rather than searching for hours, or the thread disappearing off into the ether. :)
