Does not seem right Otacon without a UB/Don avatar. Weirder than before.

A heartfelt thanks to all of the moderators past and present who have given up their spare time to try to keep this place friendly and crap free.

Unfortunately, the sheer quantity of crap posted in this particular forum of late, has been too much for even the most dedicated team to cope with and a lot of it has managed to escape the net.
The decent members of the moderating team have my sympathy and I hope you manage to stay sane (those few of you who actually are sane :p ).

Those few members of the moderating team (past and present) who have abused their positions or been arrogant and obnoxious - shame on you.

He's doing much better these days. He's nearly single-handedly made "gaming" case aficionados personae non gratae in Cases. :D

Yeh sorry about that one Bigstan, I had only seen the case at a big chain and not had chance to play with it at the time, I had my reservations and so did WJA96, but nobody had the real world experience with the case for long enough to realise just how nasty it could be. :(

Check CC now, its a bit late but the 830 gets a beating as it should, Thermaltake Armour is the superior case of the two, just took to long to work. With what CM have come from you would not imagine it would get so bad!

Anyway, must make sure I remmember this is GD. I think everyone on this forum moderates to give back to the community, bar Spie who literally is the one who makes and shapes the community. :)

Oh and I can slate your case now if it would make you feel better. :D
 
I've been a member quite a while and I'd just say transistion from mod-mod is normal, people get wifes, move etc...

They've all dont a great job, and that what made this forum, but current mods are no worse/better? :confused:

I post in the same manner (I think) even though I've retired..... I still get the urge to tell berks to can it sometimes in Motors which I obviously don't have to/aren't supposed to do any more. It's a lot more relaxing being an Ex-Don than an active one though!

Best thing about not being a Don any more is the use of the ignore list. Only got one person on it though, and I find myself constantly reading his posts anyway. It's like reality TV - painful to watch but strangely addictive.
