FAO: P5W DH and Akasa Eclipse Owners

FAO: P5W DH Owners

Hi guys and girls

. I've had this nagging problem for a while (Since having built my computer!), I just cannot get the front two usb ports of the Akasa Eclipse working. I've tried many combinations on the motherboard (Not the correct ones obviously

) so i've come here to leech off of your wisdom. This is because i'll be getting a racing wheel tomorrow and have no free usb slot available.

Ok to make this easier:

Mobo headers (Blue headers top right of the picture)

And the connectors are the usual ones. 4 pins with one blank extra next to the ground (black wire)

So if anyone has this motherboard and case combinations or can help in any other way please do so!

I have this combination and have no problems at all. I will have a look tonight as im at college. Have you updated the bios and enabled anything that might need to be enabled?

Hi, thanks a lot. If you could just tell me/take a picture of how to connect them that would be great

. Im not sure what needs to be enabled in the bios however, do you have any ideas? Thanks

With your motherboard you should have some connecters that show where to connect it properly which makes it easy but heres a picture.

Quality isnt too good

it should just plug into the blue headers with the writing on them facing upwards. If that doesnt work check that it's all connected on the face of the case itself.

Thanks for that mate, i'll check it tomorrow. I don't remember seeing those easy connectors for usb just the leds for the front etc but i'll have a fish around

Edit: Found my Q-connector for the usb and the front ports work! Woohoo you rock
