Faulty LG 50PC56

So, I've been given a 50PC56, the TV works except it has several lines that run down the screen, more apparent on blues and reds. I've toyed around with display settings to make it less noticeable.

Was wondering if there was anything I can do to fix it?

Bar a household accident then no, some of the LG range suffer from this fault over time.
