Just watching VH1 top 40 Christmas classics and it set me off thinking of my favourite Christmas song of all time. Mine has to be the Pogues and Fairy Tale of New York I think it captures Christmas perfectly
 
Kevin "Bloody" Wilson has a few classic Christmas songs. :cool:

I recommend him to everybody at this time of the year. :D

But this time of year I love 'em all, althoug quite why everyone loves the pogues I dont understand, it's not the most cheerful and christmassy of tunes; slade, wizzard, elton john, hell even that gary glitter one are much better (in my own opinion anyway).

All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey.

It's also probably one of the best pop songs ever.

This song would be perfect were it not for one terrible sounding bit of backing singing during the bridge with someone singing "so brightly baby" and it just sounds crap. Other than that, there's nothing wrong with this song.
