The Strokes - Is this it?

thats another good one

The most underated album & band IMO.

My Vitriol - Finelines

Not just 16 tracks. Unclassifiable because their music is unique and almost indescribable because their songs are filled with a spectrum of emotions. Heavy bass lines mixed with angry lyrics overlaid with mesmeric and euphoric strings.

...and back this year :)

idlewild - 100 Broken Windows

One of the few albums which I leave playing from start to finsh. Classic idlewild. Not a fan of their newer stuff.

Creed - Weathered
Gong - You
The Mars Volta - Frances The Mute and De-Loused in the Comatorium
Tool - Lateralus & 10,000 Days (but I love all of them)
Korn - Korn
Disturbed - The Sickness
American Head Charge - The War of Art

björk - vespertine

without a doubt my favourite album. just gorgeous from start to finish.

some notable others -

kate havnevik - melankton
björk - post
the cardigans - long gone before daylight
red hot chili peppers - mother's milk (they should have called it a day after this :p)
faith no more - the real thing
kings of leon - because of the times
interpol - turn on the bright lights
frou frou - details
jurassic 5 - quality control
