My introduction to Bond was the movies, not the books, so Bond to me is spies, gadgets, women, humour, cracking theme and opening sequence, maniacal bad guy with a secret lair hell bent on taking over the world :) And something the whole family can watch over Xmas.

I enjoyed Casino Royale, but DC just became a rip off of Bourne.

Goldeneye, Goldfinger, FYEO, The Spy Who Loved Me - opening scene and the Lotus!, From Russia With Love. Also enjoyed Dalton and Lazenby's movies - But Connery and Moore and my JB.

Yea, see this is how I feel.

I think that's why is disliked Casino Royale s muchh, and dislike Craig's James Bond movie in general.

In Casino Royale that lady, who she is that gets trapped in the cage under the sea and drowns.

Now Roger Moore's James Bond would have had some gadget on his watch that would launch them out of the water into some log cabin with roaring fire, bottle of champagne, Roger Moore would take out a cigar, make a cheesy one liner then they would make out.

Been watching every Bond from the first with the mrs as she had never seen any except the latest ones with DC and she said she liked them. After watching all the old ones she is won over that DC is not a good Bond. Bond should be full of gadgets, woman and one liners with great tunes and nice cars.
For me personally my favourite's
  1. Goldfinger and all the Sean Connery films.
  2. Then Timothy Dalton as he just clicked with me and I liked the films and soundtracks and cars so both films where fantastic
  3. Controversial I also really liked George Lazenby. Especially after reading about how he totally blagged the role with lies. On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Roger moore films also great and Brosnan's Goldeneye and Tomorrow never dies both brilliant. When it comes to DC Casino Royal and Skyfall are not bad but to me his films are just asda price bourne rippoffs

I read recently that the Bond producer is open to a non-binary 007.

Last week, the Eon Productions co-owner fielded a question about the possibility of a nonbinary Bond who uses they/them pronouns during a guest appearance on film critic Anna Smith’s Girls on Film podcast.

“Who knows? I think it’s open, you know. We just have to find the right actor,” Broccoli said in response.

However, when Smith asked Broccoli if Bond should continue to be portrayed as a man, Broccoli indicated that would be her preference. “I don’t think that we should be making films where women are playing men,” she said. “I think we should be making more films about women and [creating] female characters, so I think Bond will be a man.”

I purchased the Bond collection a little while back, only watched the 1st two so far, have a long way to go. I have seen them all before but in random order.

Can't say what my favourite is, not seen them all in a long while, I did enjoy Moore's movies though.
