Favourite Film

Very difficult to just pick out one. Maybe Requiem For A Dream for overall amazing use of cinema.

I've only seen it twice though and both times I felt pretty drained afterwards!

1. Man on Fire

-Sin City
-Fight Club
-Memento
-The Usual Suspects
-V for Vendetta
-Shaun of the Dead
-The Big Lebowski
-Harold and Kumar: Go to White Castle

Apart from Man on Fire, which is miles ahead, I love the rest equally.

Dunno how anyone can answer this - mine would change every five minutes as I remembered movies. So for the next five minutes from this post, my favourite will be:

Bladerunner (the original)

The one I remember having the most impact on me upon watching for the first time, which I shall use as my basis for choosing an absolute favourite, is Total Recall. Not the most intellectual of my favourites of course, but a fantastic, imaginative story packed with adventure, action, and some brilliant acting (Ronny Cox and Michael Ironside, not Arnold.) I liked the music too.

obviously what people claim to be their favourite movie is subject to their mood at the time of being asked, but right now i'm really liking "taiyo no uta" (song of the sun). Favourite of all-time on the other hand would be "tenku no shiro rapyuta" which i think was renamed to "castle in the sky" or something like that, in this country.
