I didn't see a music thread in this sub-forum (apologises if I missed it). But I thought one of the big scenes back in the day was music creation. It could be created on quite a few of the different computers back in the day with lots of specialist music groups formed. Also we can't forget those intros added to games that came to us in an unconventional way. I'll post a current favourite of mine. I'm not sure what machine it was done on. I believe the style of music is chiptunes. It's Quazar - Funky Stars.

I don't think uploading the intro music added on to games is breaking the rules as long as we're not seeing any actual game footage or audio.

Robocop - Amstrad CPC

Charlie Brooker once used it at the end of one of his BBC TV programs and I was blown away that clearly he loved it too. It's kind of haunting and totally reminds me of childhood, getting up early on a Saturday morning and sneaking a few games on the Amstrad before anyone else was up.

Lotus turbo challenge 2

This music was legendary once I got my Amiga. 2 players split screen races, absolutely amazing.

So many good ones to pick from but the intro to Project X and X-Out were always cool I thought  Agree with Lotus 2 - Lotus 3 also had great music.

There can only be one contender:

Although the whole soundtrack is a tour de force for pushing the limits of what was capable with the Amiga's Paula sound chip:
