Instead of Cold calling do you think I can just get away with sending a page of info about our services, faxing straight instead of going through the calling bit?

Unsolicited faxes are equally, if not more annoying than phone calls.
This is why there is a fax preference service.

What do you think if I can get 2 - 5% response from Faxing I guess my job is done, but I think if my luck is okay, it may go to the right department.

So it is a defo NO then in your books?

It might depend what you are offering but any company I've worked for has just binned the faxes straight away unless they specifically requested them. It might still be worth your time and money but I wouldn't count on it.

i assume your selling something?

So you're looking to find the best way to advertise it?

What kind of product is it?

Make sure you are sending the faxes from a premium rate line, otherwise you will get people like me who will send you 42 pages back just to show how hacked off you can get from unsolicited faxes

We get about 20+ faxes a day from stupid advertising companies, completely wastes our toner and the paper goes straight into internal recycling.

So in short, no.

I don't recieve faxes but I can send them out, I only have the fax machine switched on when I expect it.

By the way my fax is just a page long short and right to the point, they can quickly go through it and have my details if needed.

If you did it to me then I'd bombard your company with complaints through fax, email and phone... for days. Unsolicited calls pee me right off but a fax costs me money through paper and ink. If your company was nearby then I'd probably drive round and empty my dustbin through your letterbox too.

Don't do it.
