It's really obvious Bin Laden's dead. Like super blindingly obvious.

For a start, the myriad of videos attributed to him have massively different fakes. None of AQ's actions have been directly credited to him by their perpetrators. It's nothing but a mishmash of cells with complete lack of communications.

They never even talk about him. It's like he doesn't even care if he was even alive. It's all Zawahiri or Omar or Mehsud.

That's called vandalism and there are a lot of bots (and real editors) that go around after edits and check them. It's amazing how much of Wikipedia does get regular edits (just about every page I visit seems to have been edited by someone recently).

This, though even if he were alive the result would be the same. He's used as a figurehead, and a name to **** off the Americans - just like al-Qaeda itself. There's no single 'al-Qaeda' organisation with bin Laden as it's leader - it's just a ragtag bunch of cells with a vaguely similar hatred of anything that doesn't conform to their views.
