Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

The day of Zion Park and Bryce Canyon started off so well, little did we know it would end up as the biggest disappointment of my whole holiday.

The mist just didn't want to clear up at all.

Eldorado Canyon / Goldmine tour. This was a short tour (about 4 - 5 hrs) quite near to Vegas and took in some scenery which has been used for many film and music location shots.

Area where the film 3000 miles from graceland had a scene shot (also the shop / house for the goldmine tour begins)

Just a mine shaft, nothing too exciting. Had a 'goth' couple doing a photoshoot during the tour as well.

it was absolutely fantastic. Loved every minute of it when i was there. The next lot of photos that I'm going to post up (and my last) I think are my favourite from the whole trip. But I'll hopefully have them up by tomorrow night at some point

Very nice shots, something I keep thinking about doing is a 2 or 3 week trip across parts ofthe US, but the prices of going alone if I wanted to hire a RV or similar is a bit steep.

Shame about Bryce Canyon, but I guess it's a risk we take when we don't stay for too long.

I really enjoyed the few days we spent round the Vegas area. I've got to go back again one day.

The only way to Save the Vegas Sign photo i reckon was to take photos, at different exposures.

Then combine them together to merge an under exposed photo of the sign, with a correctly exposed background

A don't mean to hijack your LV thread, so I'm only going to post this small shot, which I took last night.

Las Vegas Market Center and Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.

Obviously I've PP on a laptop, so it doesn't look it's best.
