Fear of clubs' bouncer rejection

WHEN WILL THE MADNESS END?!
- yeah I should probably look into new shoes. What do non-internet people wear?
Of the 150 pics in the club gallery there is not one picture that has a visible shoe. I presume they wear slippers.

You can quite often get away with some plain black trainers if they are the right style. They tend to care more about your trousers and top.

Went to a cliub in my home town in easter, within 10 mins of entering I was taken out of the nightclub for apparently causing a fight 2 weeks earlier, would have helped if I would have been in even the same county then (im at uni). The bouncer said i'm banned :S

Any bouncers on this forum know what the likely hood of me getting in again is? I didnt cause any trouble when I was there, and wasnt drunk. Dont have many options as there arn't any other clubs that are my scene, and dont want to just go as its a fair bit to get there and if I dont get in wasted trip. Would the bouncer even remember my face?

If they remember you then nil, the last thing he will want to do is go back on his word and appear soft

A few friends and I went to a club recently, we were turned away because my mate had a pair of Lacoste shoes on. Not your usual crappy Lacoste boots, but a smart pair. The ironic thing was that the bouncer had a fake Lacoste hat on, the crocodile was about 5 times the size of the normal croc.....Go figure.

He may see the funny side and let you in anyway. Or maybe he'll just be a dick like the majority of bouncers. Sorry any bouncers on here, there are a couple of nice ones but most are just on a huge power trip

just looked at the website, doesnt look like theres a strict dress code... far from it in fact. seems like a fairly studently crowd so im guessing there would be very lax or that sort of thing, just dont dress chavvy

walk up to the door early in the night, have a word with those on the door. don't get ****ty about it, just ask and if they say no ask when it would be possible to come back again. then leave it :]

Eh Karbon is attached to Bread and Butter, so if you go in there for a few drinks earlier then you will get a free pass and go down a different door into Karbon and don't even know if they have a bouncer on that door.
