I just wanted some advice from the female section of this board on Jewellery selection. I know my girlfriend needs (well not needs but wants) a new Watch and necklace, so i want to suprise her by getting 1 or the other, but a really nice expensive one (not over the top expensive im only an apprentice) one with some diamonds in somthing that looks nice and sparkly . I have been looking around on certain websites but havnt seen that many necklaces that takes my fancy and I havnt started looking at watches yet, the only necklace i do like is: http://www.hsamuel.co.uk/webstore/detail/R/5190797/N/70+130+4294966571/ but i think that might look a little odd around her neck dont know why (any opinions?) so i was wondering could some females point in the direction of some sites where i can have a look at some necklaces/watches, and is there any chance of you posting up the type of necklaces/watches a female might like? or u like for that matter so i can get an idea would looks rubbish and what looks nice.
Im willing to pay about £400-£500.
Btw she doesnt like gold, by this i think she means the color gold not gold overall, so silver/white gold would be good, and she likes pink so anything with a little bit of pink in would be good.

I've not bought any myself but QVC do unusual jewellery that you probably wouldn't see in the high street jewellers. Have a look on their website
www.qvcuk.com.

Thinking about it maybe your price tag is too high for QVC!!!!

Both suggestions above are good :)

If I it were me I would rather be taken to a jewelers and told I can choose anything I wanted (with a price limit).

Only because I know I'm very fussy with jewelry etc :)

I really love vintage jewellery. I like imagining the past history of it. But my OH has taken to buying me bits and bobs from Tiffany's for my birthday's/christmas etc, and it'd be rude to make a fuss tbh :D

Personally I like this idea. I've had stuff bought for me and I've loved it.

But I still remember being out shopping, telling my guy at the time how much I loved a necklace in the window and him just telling me I could have it. He didn't say anything about the price and didn't ask for anything in return. :D

It was completely selfless of him and it was awesome! :D Truth be told, I still wear it now even though we split up.

This is the only advice you need! Take her to a decent jewellers, tell her she has x amount of money to spend and then be patient. The perfect present!
