hi good job i don't know a eunice but the storm has caused me a financial nightmare...
only 2 fence panels but I managed to save both fence panels and they are hopefully reusable.
The land has quite a steep drop, one side is the house higher up (which I will re-attach the fence to as it was solid there)
somewhere in the middle there is an old type of concrete post that is NOT Slotted, that's been there for many a year then right at the end is a slotted concrete post (I installed this about 5 years back myself)
one person came over and suggested to just put decking directly into concrete posts etc, yer it'll look nice but my heart just can't get over the fact of how much land I will lose to my neighbours gosh hard enough to buy these days....
I'm thinking of taking the old post out and replacing it with 2 x new slotted concrete posts either side for a perfect fit for the fences, however
I will be left with a horrible gap in the middle (not sure on measurement but prob 300-500mm)
question is what exactly can I do with this gap? I mean OSB board right in the middle don't look great does it?
or anyone else got solutions here? and what does one use to drill directly into concrete posts?
